"What makes a story worth reading for me, is when I am transported to the time and place in which it was written. This book does just that. While reading it, I shared confusion with the child, outrage alongside the teenager, and shared sadness of the adult as the author takes us thru her life with all it's frustrations. It was one of those books you finish reading and you just can't stop thinking about the characters, and hoping that the future brings only the best."
